Other support and advice

Finding out more

As well as information and activity ideas for teachers, our website provides vast amounts of information about Scotland's nature and landscapes, including our publications, many of which are downloadable or have on-line viewing options - please explore it and use whatever is helpful.

There are also a number of web-sites and organisations who can help with further information or activities related to Scotland's nature. We hope these are useful.

If you haven't been able to find what you are looking for, please contact us at enquiries@snh.gov.uk and we will try to help you with your request.

Funding your projects

SNH no longer funds schools directly. This funding is now passed directly from the Scottish Government to your Local Authority and should therefore still be available to you. Voluntary groups, however, can still apply for grants funding.

Eco-schools also have information on alternative sources of support: Funding and support for school grounds external site .  Funding and support for biodiversity. external site
