Scientific Advisory Committee meetings
The SAC holds plenary meetings four times a year, and on such other occasions as required by its Chairman and the SNH Board, depending on the agreed work programme. If specialist advice is required on certain topics (for example, marine affairs, wind farm developments, GMOs, or an individual SSSI), it is not expected that the full Committee would need to meet. These meetings are held in open session and members of the public are welcome to attend. Dates of meetings can be accessed through links below. Agendas and papers are published on the website one week in advance of the meeting.
