Scottish Natural Heritage has a duty to publish information on some expenditure under The Public Service Reform (Scotland) Act 2010.

Statement of expenditure 2010-11

• Payments in excess of £25,000 
• Public Relations - £4,744,598.75 
• Overseas Travel - £28,468.69
• Hospitality & Entertainment - £96,977.57 
• External Consultancy (to follow)

Expenditure on Public Relations includes:

• Advertising;
• Engaging the services of external public relations consultants;
• Work undertaken by communications or other staff on 'outward facing' communications;
• Any other promotional activity.

Our Financial year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
