Northern Isles and North Highland

We have one of the world's largest peatlands, hundreds of miles of spectacular coastline, internationally important seabird colonies, amazing landscapes created by a turbulent geological past - all with relatively easy access and always a friendly welcome.  Nature has provided us with great outdoor opportunities which helps to keep us healthy in body and soul.  It also supports our fragile economy.  Our tourism industry depends on our wildlife and landscapes.  Our aim is to provide helpful advice and support at a local level on how we can together manage our environment in a sustainable way.
