Natural Heritage Futures downloads
Our Natural Heritage Futures documents aim to guide sustainable management and use of the natural heritage. There are 6 national and 21 local prospectuses. Each describes:
- what is distinctive to each region in Scotland
- a vision for the natural heritage for 2025
- objectives and actions required to pursue that vision.
The Update should be used as a supplement to be read along with each original prospectus. All the prospectuses and updates may be downloaded here. They are also available as hard copies (on request) if you wish a copy to insert into your existing 2002 prospectus publication.
The National Assessments were prepared to inform the development of the Natural Heritage Futures documents and published in 2002. They include information that is not available elsewhere but should be used with caution given their publication date (see Related Links).
It is also possible to access the local NHF prospectus (es) and update (s) for your area by using the map below.
