Getting a job with SNH
Scottish Natural Heritage is the leading public body responsible for advising on a key asset that underpins Scotland's wealth, health and quality of life. Our job is to conserve this resource, to promote its sustainable management and to encourage people to access and enjoy it responsibly.
Scotland is celebrated the world over for ingenuity, a sense of adventure and pride.
And pretty much, that sums up the team we have here. We employ over 700 staff in a wide range of capacities, based in 36 offices across Scotland. Our interests are varied and wide and therefore we employ ecologists, planners, landscape architects, land agents, economists, geologists, and that's just for starters. We also need to support the business by providing IT specialists, accountants, financial advisers, human resources staff, and general administrators. Working together, they're all a critical part of Scotland's heritage too - and our greatest asset. That's why we engage with them about our current and future needs. Successes - by individuals, teams or SNH as a whole - are celebrated. We're as supportive, committed and proud of our people as we are the natural world around us.
