Working with others
We work along with a wide range of partners and other public bodies on climate change. For example, Scottish Natural Heritage is an active partner in the United Kingdom Marine Climate Change Impacts Partnership
(MCCIP) which brings together scientists, government, its agencies and NGOs to provide co-ordinated advice on climate change impacts around our coast and in our seas.
We also work on the Inter-Agency Climate Change Forum
, the IACCF, which aims to provide strategic direction for UK and international work on climate change and nature conservation. The IACCF publication, "Biodiversity and Climate Change - a summary of impacts in the UK
" gives an overview of the evidence of climate change impacts on the marine, terrestrial and freshwater environments across the UK.
