Climate change is a broad subject area, cutting across many strands of our work. As such, we frequently must work in partnership with others to help us to achieve our goals.
We have our own climate change action plan, and have reviewed the synergies between this and the Action Plans already published by our partner agencies:
- Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA)
- Forestry Commission Scotland
- Historic Environment Scotland Our four-agency statement on 'Action on Climate Change' clearly sets out how we are taking forward our climate change responsibilities together. This joint approach is helping to deliver the commitments made through the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009 and the Scottish Climate Change Adaptation Programme.
