Room to breathe
Battleby Centre has the flexibility to cater for anything from small meetings to large events. Our spacious meeting rooms can be adapted in layout to suit any numbers up to160 delegates. Video and teleconferencing facilities in our meeting rooms ensure your colleagues can join in without even leaving their desks.
Battleby Conference Centre also offers fantastic outdoor space for team building exercises, brainstorming and demonstrations. The grounds are used as an example of good conservation practice, with 37 acres of woodland, wildflower meadows, nature trails and lawns, Battleby has unique break out spaces that will stimulate and enthuse your delegates.
What's more, an event at Battleby Centre doesn't cost the earth - literally.
- Renewable Energy - virtually all of Battleby's heating is provided by two biomass (wood pellet) boilers, solar thermal panels and a ground-source heat pump.
- Waste & Recycling - food waste produced by staff and from events is composted on site, desk bins have been removed and replaced with recycling points.
- Greener Travel - Cycle parking is available for staff and event attendees.
As well as conference facilities, Battleby is also home to one of Scottish Natural Heritage area offices. SNH is the national body that cares for Scotland's landscapes and wildlife; Battleby is our national training and conference centre.
Auditorium and meeting rooms
The Auditorium can cater for up to 160 delegates and can be arranged in theatre, boardroom, cabaret style, or any other seating layout to suit your needs. The auditorium is equipped with a full AV suite and all rooms have a Hearing Induction Loop and disabled access.
Our meeting rooms are fitted with:
- interactive whiteboards,
- PCs and projectors.
- Internet access
