Garden for wildlife

Bumblebees are in decline and you can do something about it!

Most people have a garden or access to an allotment, patio or a few tubs, so everyone can be a wildlife gardener. You don't need to be an expert to help bees, birds and animals to thrive in your garden. Together we can make a big difference.

Gardening is also a great way of getting your children interested in wildlife and improving your fitness.

Gardens for Life provides a lot of brilliant, easy to use information about gardening for wildlife. We also have a range of leaflets about gardening for butterflies, birds and food, gardening in pots and containers, and gardening without peat.

Breathing Places external site provides lots of simple, quick and adventurous ideas for helping wildlife in your garden or close to where you live.

Grounds for Learningcan help advise you how to attract the weirdest and most wonderful creatures to your school grounds.
