Do one thing for wildlife!
Are you keen to help wildlife but you're not sure where to start or what might be involved?
There are lots of things you can do that won't take much time or cost money but do help our wildlife. Many can be done at home or with the family, and others mean getting involved in community projects close to where you live. Simple and easy to achieve, there are plenty of things that really can make a big difference.
Breathing places
Breathing Places
has some brilliant ideas for rolling up your sleeves and making your very own place for nature right on your doorstep. The ideas range from the quick and simple to the more adventurous.
Go greener
Go Greener
is a major Scottish campaign that helps you improve the environment. Things you can do include cycling and walking rather than taking the car to the local shops, putting in low energy light bulbs, and reusing plastic bags.
Volunteer
Volunteering with a local or national group is another way to make a difference. Work can range from helping to clear rubbish to planting trees. You could also help by recording wildlife in your local area.
