National Scenic Areas (NSA) are a selection of the finest landscapes in Scotland. Here are a few suggestions of great ways to explore and enjoy these areas of outstanding scenery.

There's sure to be something to suit everyone - from a gentle riverside walk at The Hermitage external site   in the River Tay (Dunkeld) NSA to the more challenging John Buchan Way external site   that traverses the hills of the Upper Tweeddale NSA. Or why not explore the many NSAs designated across the highlands and islands? The paths to explore them are plentiful. The choice of which to visit next is yours.
