SRDP and SNH grants

The Scotland Rural Development Programme (SRDP) is now the main source of Government funding for rural land management, including management to benefit nature and landscapes and people's enjoyment of these assets.

If your project is eligible for funding from the Scotland Rural Development Programme, in particular the Rural Development Contracts - Rural Priorities scheme, you should directly apply for funding from this source.

We continue to offer grant support for projects not covered by SRDP.  We will also consider match funding LEADER external site  projects.  A decision to fund these projects will be based on the availability of funding and how well the project matches our priorities.

If you require further information or clarification upon whether your project should seek funding from SRDP please contact your local Scottish Natural Heritage office who can advise.
