Future farming award

The Future Farmer Award is an initiative funded by the Elizabeth Murray Trust, sponsored by Scottish Natural Heritage, which aims to reward good environmental practice as a way of encouraging a more sustainable approach to farming. Each year, a Scottish farmer is given £ 4000 and additional support to promote his/her practical ideas to others.

The 2010 Award Applications will be open from January 1st 2010 until April 12th 2010. More information on application and last year winners can be found on the Future Farmer Award website external site .
