Enjoying our deer

Deer are much loved and iconic member of Scotland's wildlife as well as an important natural resource.  Many people enjoy watching them and they are considered as an essential part of our landscape and culture.  They also play a key role in the rural and wider economy. They bring visitors in to enjoy deer stalking and the venison produced is widely enjoyed as a delicious, healthy food that is locally produced and closely identified with Scotland.
