Educational work

Our educational work ranges from the Best Practice workshops and events for professional deer and land managers to events tailored for school students.  

The Best Practice project roles out workshops and events open to all as well as producing guides.  In the last year Best Practice has held a demonstration event with a variety of topical sessions, which are recognised as continued professional development, together with more detailed day workshops and guide development workshops. 

We have also organised four field based practical events with school students across Scotland, during the last year, to raise their awareness of deer, their environment and management and venison as a nutritious and tasty food.
