Invasive non-native species - 2nd annual workshop meeting
Sharing Good Practice event
30-OCT-2012

How can we develop improved biosecurity practice and control action for invasive non-native species by focussing on key invasion pathways and priority species ?

From 2nd July 2012 Scotland is set to have the most wide ranging non-native species legislation in Europe. The new law places a focus on biosecurity. This event will explore how this will work in practice and the role that stakeholders will play.

Attendees at this event will gain an increased understanding of the new legislation and how it will work in practice. There will be the opportunity to share and learn from others' experiences in the biosecurity and control of invasive, non- native species.
