Sharing Good Practice event
16-MAR-2017

Recording and monitoring the local environment supports Learning for Sustainability - an entitlement for all learners. 'Citizen Science' gives young people and communities the chance to get hands-on with science in an exciting and meaningful way. It provides opportunities to learn new skills, to discover more about the world, to engage with the scientific community and to find out how science can deepen our understanding of our local environment. This free event aims to share practical activities with teachers to enable students to undertake valuable and meaningful citizen science in their school grounds and nearby greenspaces.
