The SNH Media Relations office can be contacted between 09:00 and 17:00, Monday to Thursday and 09:00 and 16:30 on Friday.

Calum manages SNH's media relations activity and is the media contact for the Social and Economic Development programme covering tourism, planning and development, renewable energy and Natural Capital. He is also the media relations contact for corporate matters.

Fergus Macneill - Media Relations Officer

Fergus is the media relations lead for the Land and Freshwater, Designated Sites and Climate Change programmes.  These include issues relating to the Scottish Rural Development Programme, Land Use Strategy, EU Water Framework and Common Agricultural Policy, as well as any new designations, the target for protected features in favourable condition and the review of national nature reserves.  Fergus is also the area media contact for North Highland and Northern Isles, South Highland and the Outer Hebrides. On species he leads on freshwater pearl mussel, capercaillie and wildcat.

Vicki (Tuesday to Friday) is the media relations lead for Biodiversity Action and Wildlife Management programmes.  This includes biodiversity specific issues such as policy on invasive non-native species and species reintroductions.  She also leads on deer management issues and wildlife crime, and provides media relations support for the outdoors access campaigns.  And she is the area media contact for Tayside & Grampian and Forth.

Nancy Fraser - Media Relations Officer

Nancy is the media relations lead for The Sea and People and Landscape programmes.  Her work involves Marine Protected Areas, marine planning and licensing, and aquaculture, as well as the health benefits of nature, long distance routes, landscape and the review of National Scenic Areas.  Nancy is also the area media contact for Strathclyde & Ayrshire, Argyll and South Scotland.  On species, she leads on the Scottish Beaver Trial in Knapdale.
