Renewable Energy Consultations
Our Renewable Energy consultations
We regularly consult widely on the development of new policies and guidance in relation to renewable energy.
- In December 2009 SNH produced guidance for siting and designing windfarms in the landscape. Since then there has been an increase in the amount of small turbine development in Scotland. In response to this, SNH is now developing guidance for siting and designing of small scale wind turbine development of between 15 and 50 metres. We will be publishing the guidance in due course. Thanks for your patience.
