Renewable energy - trends and statistics
As the volume of applications for renewable energy developments grows, it is important that Scottish Natural Heritage maintains a national overview based upon clear information about trends in renewable energy proposals. We produce two key documents to help keep track of progress at the national scale.
The first is a windfarm footprint map which shows the location of windfarms and windfarm proposals and their physical footprint at a national scale.
The second is a series of annual Renewables Trends in Scotland reports. These are available to download below. If you have queries about these reports and the data we hold, please contact Mareike Moeller-Holtkamp: Mareike.Moeller-Holtkamp@snh.gov.uk 01786 450362
