Scottish Natural Heritage's landscape role

Scottish Natural Heritage is the Scottish Government's statutory adviser on landscape.  Our landscape remit is wide ranging, guided by our Landscape Policy Framework and lead by our team of landscape specialists.  This work draws on and complements SNH's efforts for nature and its enjoyment, recognising the connections between landscape, cultural heritage and history, recreation, geology, habitats and biodiversity.
