Classification of 6 golden eagle Special Protection Areas (SPAS)
Scottish Natural Heritage are pleased to announce that, following the consultation on 6 Golden Eagle Special Protection Areas (SPAs) which took place from 13 January 2010 - 7 April 2010, 6 sites were classified by Scottish Ministers on 28 October 2010.
Please refer to the information below for the map and citation for each site.
Please note that the boundaries for Cairngorms Massif, Glen Affric to Strathconon and Moidart and Ardgour Special Protection Areas have changed slightly as a consequence of comments received during the consultation period. These changes are reflected in the final maps and citations.
