Licensing, wildcats and land management
Most land management practices are unlikely to affect wildcats or their dens. However, if you think works you are proposing might affect them, and if those impacts cannot be avoided and the work might otherwise result in an offence being committed, then it may be possible to get a licence to carry out the work proposed.
Licences can only be granted subject to strict tests being met. If a licence is required then Scottish Government are likely to be the appropriate licensing authority.
