Landscapes

Scotland's landscape is known world-wide for its diversity, character and quality and is a key attraction for our visitors. The care and sympathetic management of this resource, based on sound understanding, is clearly of great importance. We are the statutory body with responsibility for advising the Scottish Government on landscape matters, often taking the lead in developing projects and identifying needs for further research, technical advice or information.
